Our Services and Approach to Physio
Physiotherapy, or better known as Physical therapy, helps people of all ages who have medical conditions, illnesses or injuries that limit their regular ability to move and function. Our Physiotherapists provide customised physical therapy program which help individuals return to their prior level of functioning, and encourage activities and lifestyle changes that can help prevent further injury and improve overall health and well being.
People who suffer from any injury or pain are always encouraged to exercise as well as get physical therapy, but are rarely given the right advice or tools to do so. When you suffer from an injury or pain, you'll likely go to the hospital, chiropractor, or physiotherapy clinic. After a few sessions, you'll feel better then try get back to your normal routine. Even if you do hire a personal trainer, they may not understand your injury and your post treatment workout adjustments. This disconnect and lack of communication between the physiotherapist and trainer is what leads to many relapses and what we see causes a lot of people getting injured again. At Form Physio and Rehab, our Physiotherapists and Rehab Trainers work closely together to help you get rid of your pain and strengthen your body and posture through exercise to make sure you recover fully and don't get injured again.
With manual therapy, our Physiotherapists use their hands to release tension from muscle for pain relief, reduce stiffness from joints to improve joint mobility, muscle energy techniques, and soft tissues tension release. Our Physiotherapists use manual therapy to treat various conditions like osteoarthritis, headaches, muscle spasm, tendonitis shoulder and neck pain, sprain and strains and lot of other conditions.
At Form Physio and Rehab, we use Ultrasound and TENS (tools to for electrotherapy that uses electric energy for treatment) to stimulate healing by reducing inflammation and increasing blood flow, and break down scar tissues the safe way. Our Physiotherapists use electrotherapy to treat various conditions like, bruising, sprain/ strain, tendonitis etc.
